Are you ready for another Doodle Dragon Studios Challenge? Are you ready for Christmas? Do you need a little break to do something crafty? Then join the Doodle Dragon Studios Design Team in an Anything But A Card Challenge. Be sure to link it before Sunday, December 25th (Merry Christmas!).
This project is dedicated to all those who are over having a "white Christmas" and are dreaming of "just another day in paradise." For the record, I'm first in line! I know it sounds funny that I'm not a snow fan, living in Utah with the greatest snow on earth, but it's true. Snow is pretty in the mountains and on Christmas Eve/Day. Other than that, it can stay high up in the mountains until I want to come visit it. When we lived in San Diego I didn't miss the snow a bit. Especially when I was Christmas shopping in my shorts!
To make the palm leaves, simply put the lei out flat, then fold it in half. There should be four layers. Then tie a ribbon (I used brown raffia) in the middle. Thread through your ornaments and tag. Then tie to the bottle. This is also super cute when you attach it to an A&W Rootbeer 2 liter (instead of pina colada mixer). It looks like a real palm tree.
Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
