S'more Fun!!! DDS Outdoor Challenge

Okay, it's finally starting to feel like winter is behind us. Do you know what that means? It's time to get OUTSIDE and enjoy! I am working on another Outdoor Challenge project, but for now, you'll have to see this repeat project.

The Doodle Dragon Studios Design Team was inspired by this beautiful weather to have an Outdoors Challenge. Show us your outdoor creation (using a Doodle Dragon Studios image, of course!) in this week's challenge. Be sure to link it by Sunday, April 29th.

Have you tried the jumbo marshmallows? Oh my, they are so much fun! I must confess... (here we go again!) I have been known to cook jumbo marshmallows over my gas stove. It's delicious! I like to toast them golden brown, then pull off the toasted layer. I set it aside (to cool) and toast another layer. You can get about 4 layers out of 1 marshmallow. Mmmmm. Afterwards, your house smells yummy! And you don't smell like a campfire. BONUS!

Teacher Appreciation Door #2

Here's another Teacher Appreciation door I did for the lunch ladies. We celebrate the faculty too. Our lunch ladies are the nicest ladies ever!

Buster Bunny is holding actual cooking spoons. His wheels are made for foam paper to add dimension. FYI - A glue gun works best for holding the spoons and wheels on.

Watch for one more door coming soon. I couldn't give you them all on the same day! That wouldn't be any fun!

Supplies:
Doodle Dragon Studios image - Toby & Buster set
Butcher paper
Cuttlebug embossing folder (for the orange on the butterfly)
Die cut letters & butterfly
Plastic cooking spoons
Black foam
White paint

Spring Showers - DDS Pike's Playground Challenge

Yea! Today finally felt a little like spring. It rained! N0 snow = a very happy me! And the tulips are poking through the soil. I love, love, love tulips! Spring is music to my ears (and heart).

To celebrate spring and all the new beginnings, Doodle Dragon Studios is having a Spring Showers Challenge. Whatever you want to celebrate...spring, baby showers, wedding showers, rain showers...just be sure to include a Dustin Pike/Doodle Dragon Studios image in your creation. Post your project by Sunday, March 20th to the official Pike's Playground Challenge. Check out the DDS Design Team's cards for inspiration.
