Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow today? I sure hope not!
According to legend, if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow (the day is bright and sunny), there will be six more weeks of winter weather. If he does not see his shadow (the day is overcast), there will be an early spring. Pleeeeeeeeeeease don't see your shadow Phil!
Our Kindergarten teachers at our school are the best (actually I love all of our teachers). Especially when I pop in a say, "Hey, I have project I want to do. May I use your board?" That's what I did for this project. Thanks Mrs. Simpson! Each day when the adorable kindergarten students arrive there is a Question of the Day to answer. Then they put their clip on the side of their response. I thought it would be more fun to add some DDS magic in the question. Don't be fooled by the clips. There are 25 students in her class (she has two sessions - so 50 students every day), I just didn't want to put them all on the left side. I'm over winter...bring on spring!

I LOVE this...I am a 5th grade teacher and we are buddies with a kindergarten class. Her classroom does the Question of the day everyday as well. Is this on a 11 x 17 page of paper? What a great idea!! You are so creative!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being a teacher! I think teachers are awesome! Yes, this is a 11x17 paper. Watch later in the month for some fun Science Fair posters done in the same format.
ReplyDeleteAwesome....maybe you would be willing to share them? I am in charge of the school's science fair!
ReplyDeleteI'll talk to Dustin to see if and when he is going to release them. I made the posters in MS Publisher. I'm still trying to figure out Photoshop, so I cheat and use my dinosaur Pub. I start an 8 week Photoshop class tonight.
ReplyDeletePublisher is my FAVORITE! I have Photoshop, and I use it to edit Photos, but for everything else I use Photoshop. Thanks for asking him about the science! I have 4 weeks until our Science Fair/Night.
ReplyDeleteAlso I went back and looked at your Halloween treat in a can idea. We are going to make Mother's Day gifts like that. Thanks for sharing!
