The Doodle Dragon Studio is having another challenge. So hop on over to check out the fun Easter themed creations the design team has made for this challenge. The Easter challenge ends on Easter, April 4th. Be sure to link your site to the Mr. Linky.

Girls Like Dragons Too! Challenge #4

It's time for another challenge! Every quarter each Design Team member chooses a theme for a challenge. This was my idea. I read a comment that someone said their boys love dragons. Well..girls like dragons too! Isn't it amazing how ideas are born?!

Second card for Girls Like Dragons Too!

Here's my second card for the challenge. I was so excited/distracted about creating the Girl Power card it was hard to focus on this card. Lesson learned...only make one card!

Card Request...

Here is my card for Delia following Dustin's request.

This is from Dustin:

I have a Special Request...

Jennifer from http://just4funcrafts.blogspot.com asked if I could help and ask for card donations..

This is part of the email:

On Friday, December 11th, 2009 my friends daughter Delia was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She is 10 yrs old and is currently being treated at the Denver Children's Hospital.

She loves art, photography and really loves owls. I was hoping that there would be some wonderful women or men out there that would love to send her a card of encouragement. I thought it would bring a smile to Delia's face to be inundated with cards as a special Valentines Day gift from people around the world. Please find it in your heart to bring hope and love to this beautiful spirited girl. Any card will do..but if you have an owl that would be a bonus. Please pass this information around so we can thrill a little girl in her time of hardship!

She is on her second round of chemo and its been a struggle for her, although she is doing better today.
An address for her mail is here.
Att: Delia Cadwallader
2048 Sandhurst Dr.
Castle Rock, CO 80104

IF you are willing to make a card/something for this little girl go to my website for the owl images to use for her and whenever else you'd like consider it a small payment for a small set of Digi's...

New Doodle Dragon Studio Challenge #3...Red, White & Black

It's time for another Doodle Design Studio Blog challenge! Pick any digi from Dustin and design it with only red, white or black. Challenge ends Sunday, February 21st. Click over to the official Doodle Design Studio blog for more details.

Here's my "Hello" card for the challenge. I used Dustin's cute freebie from January 28th, Cuttlebug heart squares embossing folder, Wild Cart Cricut cartridge for the hello font, Sentiments Cricut cartridge for the stamp, Martha Stewart heart edge punch, and diamond stickles on the crowns and her wings.

Be Gentle...with my heart

What is it about valentines that you just can't get enough or make enough? Here's my latest "Be Gentle...with my heart" card. I used the new Cuttlebug candy embossing folder (from the Romance bundle) and the Love Struck Cricut cartridge for the hearts.

You Did It!

I love Dustin's monkey (and all the other stuff he does!). I found the blue background card at Michael's for 20 cents...for a package of 8 with envelopes. You know I love a bargain! It's a little wild, but I think the monkey suits it great. I made a whole bunch of these to send to the Cards for Soldiers forum.

If you haven't picked up Dustin Pike's new freebie this week, go get it! Isn't he the cutest elephant you've ever seen? I couldn't sleep because I knew he was waiting for me! It was a date for Mr. Elephant and me this morning. He's sitting in a purple puddle of love.

Celebrate!

It's time for another freebie from Dustin! So CELEBRATE!

Happy Happy Birthday!

Happy Happy Birthday to me! Okay, so it's not my birthday, but it is the birth day of my new blog! Some of you are dying because #1 - I'm blogging & #2 - I'm making cards - after years and years of trying to get me join the card group. FYI - I still don't want in. :) I love you anyway! I will be donating some of my cards to Cards for Soliders in the Provo Craft Cricut Forum. I am so excited to be on Dustin Pike's Design Team! I have loved his images for many years. Stay tuned to see more cards to come.
